But I think I'm really getting into Smallville again. I'm totally shipping Oliver and Clark Kent and I'm getting plot bunnies where Zodd gets his powers and discovers Clark Kent and uses his powers to try and steal Clark from Oliver...you know stuff like that...I think it helps that the guy they cast for Zodd is HOT. :) And kind of evil but...could maybe pick another destiny. I also really love Tess. I'm even shipping Clark/Lois hardcore on the show. But truly, I think Clark/Oliver makes a lot more sense! they keep having heart to heart talks and wow does Oliver look great!

P.S. my original intention of my post was to ask for fic recs for Oliver/Clark or Clark/Zodd...I looked for archives yesterday but...I didn't have much luck. :(

In other news, I'm excited about Saturday because new episode of Merlin and season 2 of Legend of the Seeker starts. :) I'm not so excited about hw and house chores...but that's life.

It is currently a WIP because I am still going through my 500+ hardcopy!issues collection. I do not download torrents/scans.

I'd like to point out that currently I have two polls up for debate, as can be seen here explaining two routes the asylum's project can take. IE: spoiler free reviews, spoilerific reviews, and whatnot. =) Otherwise, the FAQ and The Rules are already up. The tags/memory post is still a WIP.

I am also open to affiliating with other comic book and/or Batman related asylums, except for RPGs.

For those of you who didn't catch it when I mentioned it on Halloween, we're continuing last month's theme this month, since I was a slug and didn't post a lot of what I had planned for October.  That means we're still working on Fantasy, Scifi and Horror in November, so I get to use my Horns and Tails pictures today for Fetish Fridays.  That's right, we've got tons of Horny Devils for you, and Satyrs, and Demons, and Minotaurs and...  I think you can get the idea.

What I need is a new job. So much easier said than done, even in a good economy.

I've been here almost two and a half years. Sadly, that's one of my longest stretches at any job.

Schedule change is on the horizon. I'm hoping that will help some.

And it just registered this afternoon...I have to leave my house tomorrow at 5:30am to make my flight. Leave the house at 5-freaking-30. Ouch. I had thought I would read some while on the plane. I think I'll be sleeping instead. And I haven't packed yet. Oops.

I need to stop *thinking* now.

I figure if I'm getting multiple phone calls checking up on me, I probably should update.

I'm still muddling through. Today at work wasn't awful. Still got another 20 minutes to go, but I'm cautiously optimistic...

The evil machine that would not be fixed is fixed, but I wasn't the one who did the final fixing. Odds of two usb cables crapping out at the same time? Yeah. Whatever. I think the OEM handled this one poorly.

Tonight was a conveyor motor in an xray. Right down there on the list of things I don't like doing. Thankfully I had Nick to help. Help, hell, he did most of the work. Or at least it felt like it.

I'm making a little trip this weekend. ell generously offered up a change of venue, so I'll be flying out to DC Saturday morning to spend the weekend with her and her temp kitty. Timing happened to work out with synecdochic's monthly stich-n-bitch too. My cup runneth over.

Knitting... finished one mitt, started in on the second one tonight. Yeah, got enough down time at work to knit. Finally.

Fannishly there's nothing. Still no vidding. Of course no writing. Haven't even really been reading. Been watching Castle and Community, but not feeling *fannish* about either... well, other than really wanting to vid Castle, but I still haven't stumbled across a song yet.

One thing about Castle. A question.... Does anyone else get something of a Moonlighting feel from Castle? Or is it just me?

It's 2:30 in the morning and I can't sleep.....

Hello all,

What a year it's been. All I can seem to think to say is, 'Wow'. Some of these most extraordinary things have happened and I'm not even sure where to begin. It's all happened so fast and the only thing I've realized is how out of touch with things I've become.

Oh, not that I'm old and it's one of those generational gap things, not at all. I'm just...I'm not sure how I can explain it. People in the world today are so different in their views, they seem to think that everything happening is new or some how unique. Bad guys getting away with the loot, politicians acting like children, world gone mad, freedoms being experienced for the very first time, it's all so much to take in.

It's little wonder we're starting to question, well, everything. The saying goes, I think, 'these are the times that try men's souls'. I don't know about men's, but mine is sure feeling a little used. See, I made a little joke. It's what some people do when they're nervous and not quite sure what to say. Guess it just helps to have someone to say it to.

Do you need someone to talk to? I've got a free ear and some cheese cake.

I had a lot of fun reading on Saturday. I also had a blast giving out candy over Halloween. I waited to watch Merlin until after 8:30 my time which is pretty much when we ran out of candy. It was all around a fun day. And now I'm playing catch up on Sunday with homework. I think I would have been done by now but once I started the Star Trek story I had to finish it.
